Indian Summer House is on Tagore Road in Muvattupuzha, in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, 35 km from Cochin International Airport (COK). Fly into Kochi and we arrange the transfer to the house. Check-in is from 2 pm, check-out is by 10 am, and the minimum stay is two nights.

The house is in a rural village setting, yet the centre of Muvattupuzha town is only a fifteen-minute walk away, with Khadi cotton, jewellery, bakeries and brass shops. Borrow one of the house bicycles, or take a tour around town with tea out in the 1958 Black Ambassador.
At sunset an autorickshaw and a fifteen-minute riverside walk bring you to the Puzhakkarakkavu Devi Temple, where the three rivers meet. Further out, the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary is forty-five minutes away for an early guided start, and the craft workshops of Fort Kochi are about ninety minutes away.
