Ayurveda Wellness Retreat

Five nights to restore

An Ayurveda retreat in Kerala: daily treatments, yoga and village life, in a private house.

The Ayurveda Wellness Retreat at Indian Summer House is a five-day, five-night stay in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, built around fifteen Ayurvedic treatments, a yoga session every morning, vegetarian meals cooked on Ayurvedic principles and three outings into village life. It suits people who want real rest and a quiet house rather than a resort spa. Ask us for the next dates.

  • Swedana: herbal steam therapy, 15 minutes
  • Nasya Karma: nasal cleansing for clarity and calm, 20 minutes
  • Podikizhi: herbal poultice massage for tired muscles, 60 minutes
  • Shirodhara: a steady stream of warm oil across the brow, 30 minutes
  • Kati Vasti: targeted therapy for spinal health, 30 minutes

The days

Yoga, food
and stillness

Each morning starts with a tailored yoga session to build flexibility, ease stress and deepen mindfulness before the day's treatments. Meals are fresh, vegetarian and farm-to-table, cooked by the house kitchen to support the therapies.

Between sessions the house is yours: the pool, the shaded verandas and the garden. Rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and most have both an indoor and an open-air shower.
